Cowboy Cookies

Description

A cookie with just about everything but the kitchen sink in it making it a perfect addition for life "home on the range". Makes about 3 dozen.

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C). 

  2. In main mixing bowl with a heavy duty mixer, cream together butter, both sugars, vanilla extract and egg for 5 mins at high speed until light and fluffy.

  3. Sift in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and mix gently until smooth.

  4. Add rolled oats, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips, chopped nuts and fold in gently.

  5. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Scoop 2 tablespoons of cookie dough (about the size of a walnut) and place the dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared tray.

  6. Bake for 13 - 15 minutes.

  7. Let cookies cool completely before consuming. Enjoy!
