For this step you'll need:
Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C). In a medium bowl, add your All Purpose Flour, Salt and Baking Soda and mix. Set aside for now.
-
Step 2
For this step you'll need:
- 3 Ripe Bananas
- Fork or Clean Hands :-)
In a medium bowl with a fork (or your clean hands), mash your bananas until most of the large clumps are gone. Set aside for now.
-

Step 5
-
Step 6
For this step you'll need:
- Premixed Mashed Bananas From Step 2
Add your Mashed Bananas and continue mixing.
-
Step 7
For this step you'll need:
- Premixed Dry Ingredients From Step 1
- 1/4 cup (30g) Chopped Nuts (optional)
This is where you would add your optional chopped nuts into your mix if you'd like. Then, add your premixed dry ingredients from Step into your bowl 1/2 cup at a time. This way, you won't get blasted with flour to the face! Continue mixing until all your dry ingredients have been mixed in.
-
Step 8
For this step you'll need:
Line your baking tin with parchment paper and pour your banana mix in. Use scissors to trim the excess paper off the top of the tin. In this recipe, I am using a 8.5" x 4.5" bread tin. Fill up your baking tin to 2/3rds of the way full.
BONUS TREAT! If you have any banana bread mix left over, you can line cupcake tins with paper liners, fill those up to 2/3rds full and bake for 20 minutes for delicious banana muffins.
-
Step 9
For this step you'll need:
- Your Oven :-)
Bake your banana bread for 1 hour in your preheated oven 350˚F (175˚C).
-
Step 10
For this step you'll need:
Pull your bread out of the oven and cool on cooling rack for 10-15 mins. (A heat-safe counter top or a plate will work as well.) Wait until it has completely cooled before slicing into it.
-
The Best Part!
For this step you'll need:
- Your Appetite :-)
When your banana bread has completely cooled, lift the bread out of the tin by the parchment paper and slice off a well earned piece. Congrats! You have made a delicious banana bread loaf. I hope you like it! :-)
