Yammy’s Brownies
Description
These brownies are super thick and so so so rich. I hope you like them as much as I do. :-) I use a 9" x 9" baking tin for this recipe and cut the final product into thirds which gives you 9 good-size brownie squares.

What We'll Need
Special Baking Equipment Needed
What We'll Do
-
Step 1
For this step you'll need:
First, let's preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C). In a bowl, add your flour, salt and baking powder. Mix together and set aside for now.
-
Step 2
For this step you'll need:
In your main mixing bowl, add your white sugar and butter and mix together. Having a mixer is optional for this recipe as this cookie dough can be mixed by hand with a spatula.
-
Step 3
For this step you'll need:
Next, add your golden brown sugar and continue mixing.
-
Step 4
For this step you'll need:
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tbls Water
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Add your eggs, water and vanilla and keep on mixing.
-
Step 5
For this step you'll need:
Add half of your cocoa into your bowl, mix and then add the rest in. If you add the whole cup all at once, cocoa will fly everywhere! :-) Your brownie mix will turn to a beautiful dark brown.
-
Step 6
For this step you'll need:- Premixed Dry Ingredients From Step 1
-
Step 7
For this step you'll need:
Lightly grease your 9" x 9" baking tin and pour your mix into the pan. Your brownie mix will be super thick. Do your best to spread your brownie mix out as evenly as possible into the baking tin.
-
Step 8
For this step you'll need:
- Your Oven :-)
Bake for 20-15 minutes in your preheated oven 350˚F (175˚C). Every oven cooks slightly different so always start with the lower amount of time first.
-
Step 9
For this step you'll need:
- Knife or Toothpick
- Cooling Rack (optional)
After 20 minutes, take out your brownies and we're going to check to see if they're done or not. Really thick brownies are tricky to get right. Take a knife or a toothpick and poke the center. If it comes out clean, you are done. If it has wet goo on it, put your brownies in for another 2 minutes. Repeat this process in another area close to the middle and if it is still wet, do this one more time. This recipe shouldn't need more than 25 minutes of baking. :-) When finished baking, set tray on a cooling rack to cool. (A heat-safe counter top or a plate will work as well.)

The Best Part!
For this step you'll need:
- Your Appetite :-)
Once your brownies have cooled, grab a cold glass of milk. Or your favorite non-dairy substitute. I personally love Oat and Almond milk! :-) I hope you like it!
